Herlinde Raeman (°1982, Eeklo, Belgium) is an artist and curator working primarily with analogue photography and text. Her practice approaches everyday life as a critical site of feminist reflection, exploring motherhood and relational modes of artistic production, and paying particular attention to underrepresented contexts.

Her work is embedded in sustained collaborations with people from her immediate environment, and she positions her collaborators as co-authors, developing projects shaped by time, care, mutual openness and shared responsibility. Through deliberately intimate dialogue, they develop projects that blur the boundaries between the personal and the political, the domestic and the public, positioning lived experience as both material and method.

Opus One (Breedbeeld) selected her collaborative graduation project, the mom/artist notebook, pt. I, for an exhibition at Cultuurcentrum Hasselt (Belgium) in 2024. In 2025, the project was selected for the Feminist Art Prize at IKOB, Eupen (Belgium), and received second prize. The book dummy of the same project was selected for the VAiF 2025 exhibition in Thessaloniki (Greece), and the final book was co-published by Art Paper Editions/Asiro éditions in the Fall of 2026 and selected by Printed Matter for the book talks at Paris Photo 2026.

Let us see you again — a collaboration with Lobna Morsi — was developed under the mentorship of photographer Vincen Beeckman as part of Breedbeeld’s Blueprints programme. Following its inaugural showing at nw in Aalst in June 2025, the latest iteration of the project was on view at Ontsteking in Ghent (Belgium) in June 2026 and the Junk Dump Film Festival at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens (USA) in September 2026, where the film was awarded Best Experimental Documentary.
